Dr. Leena Zulkipli graduated from Monash University Clayton in 2006 and gained extensive experience in general medicine during her physician training with Bayside & Peninsula Health and Austin Health. Her journey in General Practice began at Albury Wodonga in 2012. She completed her Specialist Training in General Practice and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2015. Additionally, she furthered her studies by obtaining a Professional Diploma in Women’s Health (Obstetric and Gynaecology) from the Royal College of Physicians Ireland.

Dr. Leena is known to her patients as a compassionate and caring GP. She is skilled in all areas of general practice and has a particular interest in women’s and children’s health, skin cancer management, weight management, and chronic disease management.

Dr. Leena believes in her approach to meet patients individual needs and strives to treat the whole person, addressing both their physical and emotional well-being.

Dr. Leena also enjoys performing minor procedures, including skin cancer surgery, laceration repairs, Implanon management, abscess and wound management, ingrown toenail surgery, iron infusions and cyst removals.

Dr Nur Ibrahim

Dr. Nur Ibrahim graduated from Monash University (Clayton) in 2006 and gained extensive experience in general medicine through her physician training with Peninsula Health and Western Health. She transitioned into General Practice in 2012 and has since built a strong foundation in holistic patient care.

Dr. Nur holds a Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition from Deakin University and completed her specialist training in General Practice through the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2025, following her training in Shepparton.

Her clinical interests include preventive health, chronic disease management with special interests in cardiology, diabetes and gastroenterology, women’s and children’s health, men’s health, and communicable diseases. She is also experienced in conducting minor procedures,  skin checks, skin biopsies and excisions, insertion and removal of contraceptive implants and administering iron infusions.

Dr. Nur is a firm believer in patient-centered care, focusing on the physical, emotional, mental, and social aspects of her patients’ well-being.

DR JAYA SANGAM

Dr. Jaya Sangam graduated from NTR University of Health Sciences in India in 2004 and moved to Australia in 2010, where she gained experience working in public hospitals across Victoria. Her journey in General Practice began in 2012, collaborating with rural healthcare providers to achieve positive outcomes for her patients. She completed her Specialist Training in General Practice in 2015.

Dr. Jaya has a particular interest in women’s health, mental health, child health, chronic disease management, and preventive care. She firmly believes in providing patient-centered care in an empathetic and respectful manner, focusing on the needs of families within her local community. Dr. Jaya is known for her thoroughness and takes the time to help her patients navigate their health journey.

In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Jaya has extensive experience in holistic and preventive care in general practice.

Dr. Sabah Nazir graduated from Lahore Medical & Dental College, University of Health Sciences, in 2009. She has since gained extensive experience working across various subspecialties in both metropolitan and rural Victoria. For the past 11 years, Dr. Sabah has been practicing as a GP in Australia and completed her specialist training with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2022.

Dr. Sabah enjoys teaching undergraduate medical students and has a special interest in women’s and children’s health, chronic disease management, and skin cancer management. She is skilled in all aspects of general practice and now also provides hormonal IUD insertion and replacement services for contraceptive purposes.

Outside of work, Dr. Sabah is passionate about community involvement and has served as an event coordinator and MC at various festivals and events.

 

DR MUNIRAH MAT SWADI

BMedSc, MBBS (Uni.Melb), Diploma in Child’s Health, Fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP)

Dr Munirah Mat Swadi graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2009 and completed her Specialist GP Training in 2021. She has extensive experience across all areas of General Practice, with particular interests in women’s and children’s health, men’s health, chronic disease management, iron-deficiency treatment (including iron infusions), skin mole checks and cancer management, and chronic pain management.

Dr Munirah has advanced skills in women’s health, including Mirena and other IUD insertions. She is also experienced in a wide range of minor procedures such as skin lesion excisions and biopsies, Implanon insertions and removals, abscess and cyst removal, as well as laceration repair and wound management.

She is a Hepatitis B S100 prescriber, and she has a special interest in refugee health.

Outside of work, Dr Munirah is a mother of three and enjoys spending time outdoors with her family.

With a background in counseling and a strong educational foundation in psychology, Canan uses her skills to support patients from diverse backgrounds throughout their healthcare journey. She is passionate about ensuring patients feel heard and valued and strives to create a welcoming, supportive environment for everyone at the practice.

In addition to her administrative and management responsibilities, Canan plays a key role in assisting the Directors in the smooth operation of the clinic, ensuring high-quality care for both patients and staff.

Rebbeckah is our compassionate medical receptionist with over 10 years of customer service experience. She takes pride in making people feel welcomed and cared for.

Before joining Medics at Craigieburn, Rebbeckah earned a Diploma of Beauty Therapy from TAFE SA and spent three years working at a beauty spa, where she honed her skills in client care and one-on-one interactions.

Outside the clinic, you might find Rebbeckah at the gym leading a Les Mills BodyPump class or spending quality time with her husband, children, and their golden retriever, Ralph.

Practice Nurse

Noor Wehbe is a caring and dedicated Registered Practice Nurse with experience across both general practice and hospital settings. She graduated from La Trobe University in 2019 and has since worked in various healthcare environments throughout Melbourne, including on a surgical ward at The Royal Children’s Hospital. Her work in paediatric and acute care has helped her develop strong clinical skills, patience, and the ability to support patients of all ages.

At our clinic, Noor provides comprehensive primary care services, including immunisations, wound management, health assessments, and chronic disease support. Having completed Understanding Vaccines and the National Immunisation Program, a Victorian-recognised immunisation course, she is committed to delivering safe, evidence-based preventive care.

Noor places great importance on patient-centred care, ensuring every patient feels informed, comfortable, and supported in their healthcare journey. She is passionate about helping individuals and families stay healthy through every stage of life.

Munira is a dedicated physiotherapist who graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours). Her honours research explored NDIS budget sizes in young Australians across Victoria, contributing insights into accessibility and support within the disability sector.

Since joining Physease, Munira has worked with a wide range of clients, treating musculoskeletal, neurological and women’s health–related conditions. She is committed to providing evidence-based, person-centred care and enjoys empowering clients to understand their bodies, achieve their goals and return to the activities they love.

Munira is also actively involved in the Physease community, helping to create educational resources and workshops that promote health awareness and preventative care. She values collaboration and strives to ensure every treatment plan is holistic, practical and tailored to each individual.

Anosha is the founder and lead physiotherapist at Physease, rooted in evidence-based care and a commitment to “move with ease.” Physease began in 2019 as an educational platform and has since grown into a trusted physiotherapy practice serving Melbourne’s northern suburbs.

She holds a Master of Physiotherapy (2019) and a Bachelor of Biomedical Science, both from La Trobe University. Her clinical philosophy centers on empowering clients through a combination of manual therapy, movement education, and personalised exercise — helping people regain control and confidence in their bodies.

Taylah completed her Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Deakin University before graduating with a Master of Physiotherapy from Swinburne University. She has worked across a variety of clinical settings throughout Melbourne, including private practice, hospital-based care and community rehabilitation. She is currently undertaking further training in Women’s Pelvic Health through the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA).

Before becoming a physiotherapist, Taylah worked in public health and trauma research at Monash University. This experience shaped her holistic, person-centred approach to care and deepened her understanding of the many factors that influence recovery. Taylah is passionate about improving health outcomes for disadvantaged and marginalised communities, and is committed to providing inclusive, culturally sensitive physiotherapy in a safe and welcoming environment.

Podiatrist (On Track Podiatry)

Chamith completed his Master of Podiatric Practice at La Trobe University in Bundoora, graduating in 2017.

With extensive experience across all facets of podiatry, Chamith is a passionate practitioner with a particular interest in diabetes management, plantar warts management, as well as treating sporting and overuse injuries of the foot and ankle.

Chamith also focuses on exercise therapy for the foot and ankle, and works to identify and treat the underlying causes of foot pain, including gait issues and anatomical problems such as flat feet and high arches.

He is proficient in using ultrasound shockwave therapy for plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinitis, etc. Shockwave Therapy is a highly effective, non-invasive treatment designed to relieve pain and promote healing using high-energy sound waves to target and treat musculoskeletal issues, stimulating the body’s natural healing process and improving blood flow to the affected area.
